BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Authorities are continuing to investigate a serious crash on Interstate 494 in Bloomington after a multi-vehicle collision caused significant traffic disruptions and prompted an emergency response from law enforcement, firefighters, and medical personnel.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the most recent major crash on westbound Interstate 494 near Highway 100 occurred shortly before 4:20 a.m. on June 13, involving two sport utility vehicles and a semi-truck. Investigators reported that a Honda CR-V and a Jeep Grand Cherokee collided in the westbound lanes before a Peterbilt semi-truck subsequently struck the Jeep.
